3. Observe the movement of the robot end effector while exercising the cylinder:
GOAL: Set the flow controls to produce smooth, steady movement of
the cylinder.
You Type or Select Explanation/Screen Display
a. FLIP 0 <Enter> To flip the robot end effector, type "FLIP 0" and
press the Enter key to confirm.
b. FLIP 1 <Enter> To flip the robot end effector again, type "FLIP 1"
and press the Enter key to confirm.
4. Open door 5 or door 6.
5. Adjust the flow controls, located on top of the robot, as needed to meet the
goal.
6. Test the adjustment by repeating Steps 3.a and 3.b.
Repeat testing and adjusting until the goal is met.
7. Shut down power to the machine:
• Follow the procedures found in the Basic Operation section of the
Operator Functions chapter of this manual.
8. Disconnect the keyboard.
9. Power up, home, and reference the machine:
• Follow the procedures found in the Basic Operation section of the
Operator Functions chapter of this manual.
