BACKUP AND RECOVERY
The procedures below detail steps for backup and restoration of files customized by
the user during machine setup and operation. The functions which perform backup
and restoration are executed by batch files stored in the c:\7AF\EXECODE directory.
SOFTWARE VERSION REQUIRED
The utility batch files needed for backup and restoration are included in all 7AF
software releases Version 2.06 and later. If you have an earlier software version,
contact the factory.
BACKUP
Follow the steps below to back up all files that may have been changed during setup
and operation onto a floppy diskette:
1. Touch the 7AF in the 7AF logo to exit the 7AF software.
2. At the prompt, type 7AFBAK and press the Enter key.
3. Follow the onscreen directions for inserting a diskette in the floppy drive.
The instructions will prompt you to put in a diskette and inform you when the
backup has been completed.
At the end of the process, the batch file will restart the 7AF software.
