STRASBAUGH CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
6
Any other entry will deny permission. For example, pressing xpm will remove access permission from Operators
while allowing Process and Maintenance to access the button. As soon as you press “Enter”, this setting will be
confirmed by displaying in both boxes. Note that the x will display as a hyphen and the p and m will be
capitalized. Remember that the order is important. pmo will become --- and will deny access to everyone, while
opm will become OPM and will give access to everyone. Also remember to press “Enter” after the three letters,
just as you did when creating passwords on the first screen.
When you are finished making changes to buttons, press Save to save them and then press Quit to return to the
first screen. If you make changes and then press Quit without first pressing Save, you will be asked if you want
to Quit without Saving, and you will have a chance to Save. However, if you do not want to save the changes,
you will be allowed to Quit without Saving.
When you return to the first screen, press Quit to save your passwords and names and to exit the program.
If you have been doing this work on the 7AF, the files you created are in the correct place, C:\7AF\EXECODE.
If you have been working on a different computer, you may send UTIL7AF.BUT and UTIL7AF.PAS to the 7AF
directory C:\7AF\EXECODE via GEM or on a floppy disk. These are kept as separate files in order to meet
the file size requirement for GEM transfer.
