8.4.4 Monitoring/Signaling Frame
The monitoring and signaling cards are housed in one or more 19"/3U
frames. All audio monitoring, talkback, and signaling functions of the
D950 system are contained in this frame. The operating desk contains
panels such as CR monitor or Studio controls, source selectors, talkback
panels, etc., which only serve as remote controls.The number and type of
cards depends on the actual system configuration.
The audio connections of external monitoring sources, talkback, and
signaling are all located at the back of the monitoring and signaling frame
on a selection of connector panels:
• One Siemens 39 pin connector per panel.
• Two D-Type 25 pin connectors per panel.
The exact number and type of the connector panels depends on actual
project specification.
Typical power requirements: 100...120 V or 200...240 V, 50/60 Hz, 50...150 W, depending on the number of cards.
