Overview
EasyConnect
RCT 1.0 (RCT) is a remote configuration program that configures network settings for
HFA-NET Pro on Humphrey HFA II-
i
instruments running system software version 4.2 or later. The
RCT uses a multi-page wizard to guide the operator step-by-step through the HFA-NET Pro
configuration process. It provides a simple mode of operation that will make most of the decisions,
selecting default values for configuration data.
The RCT runs from a
computer
connected to an
existing network
—not from an HFA II-
i
instrument.
The RCT runs on NT 5.x based Windows systems:
• Windows 2000
• Windows Server® 2003
• Windows XP
Configurable features are HFA-NET Pro Windows file sharing Shar
ed folder and Shared Printer
setups. FTP (File Transfer Protocol) connections must still be configured manually.
