Hard Drive Failure: REBUILD HARD DISK DATABASE
In the event the FIX NOW recovery attempts have failed, use the r
ebuild utility (REBUILD HARD DISK
DATABASE). Typically a lengthy process, rebuilding the database frequently corrects the original
database problem and avoids the inconvenience of restoring the database from a USB storage
device, backup floppy disks, or the network file server (optional).
1From the Main Menu, press the
SYSTEM SETUP
icon.
2Press ADDITIONAL SETUP.
