Hard Drive Failure: USB ONLY Option

This option is only an interim measure, to be used in the

event of a hard drive failure. It is designed

to allow you to continue testing patients, and save patient and test data to a USB storage device

until you can attend to the hard drive problem. By choosing this option, the hard drive becomes

disabled. When time permits, recycle power to initiate the recovery program (see Step 7 below) or

use the REBUILD HARD DISK DATABASE option described later in

this section.

1Read the message in the dialog box. Choose USB ONLY.

2Read the warning message. Select YES. Selecting NO returns you to

Step 1.

3A dialog appears prompting you to select a USB storage device.

4Insert a USB storage device into a USB port on the HFA II-
