71 - Maintenance Procedures
- Tighten the blade terminal [13] together with the mounting screw of the lifting
eyelet. Torque 12 Nm. Refer to Fig. 71 - 60, if not already installed.
- Connect the double flat terminal of FMU to the blade terminal mounted to the
lifting. Refer to Fig. 71 - 61.
- Connect the flat terminal of CTS to the double flat terminal of FMU. Refer to
Fig. 71 - 62.
Apply an additional shielding on the FPS and
FPS cable:
- Put a netting on the FPS and FPS
cable.
- Attach a cable tie at each end of the
netting.
- Put a tape on each end of the
netting.
Netting length approx. 180 mm.
The tape will prevent netting splits.
Netting, tape and cable ties are
included in Kit E4A-95-100-000 No.
[10].
Refer to Fig. 71 - 63.
Connect the pigtail of the FPS connector and
tighten the screw of the FMU.
Torque 6.5 Nm.
Use Loctite 243.
Refer to Fig. 71 - 64.
Attach the branch of CRS1 to the engine
block.
The edge clips position is recommended to the installer.
Connect the pigtail of CRS1 and tighten the
screw on the EGR cover.
Attach the harness branch of GPC, MOK,
GBTS, GEN, and CRS2 on the oil filter screw.
Torque 8 Nm.
Refer to Fig. 71 - 67.
Engine block (oil filter housing side)
Connect the pigtail of OPS to the heat
exchanger screw.
Attach the engine harness to the starter.
Attach the GEN branch on the MOK sensor
screw.
Use a clamp [04].
Refer to Fig. 71 - 69.
Connect the pigtail of GEN connector to
clamp [04] and tighten the MOK sensor
screw.
Connect the W11/1 ring terminal and pigtail
of the MOK sensor and tighten the screw [09]
on the oil sump.
