Make sure that the installation position applies to
the engine configuration.
Refer to Fig. 81 - 15, Fig. 81 -
16 and Fig. 81 - 17.
When you apply Loctite, there must be no grease on the thread!
Apply only a thin film of Loctite!

Apply Loctite 243 onto the thread of the connection
rod, where the nut is countered.
Refer to Fig. 81 - 18.
Do not bend and twist the connection rod of the wastegate controller at any
time!
Refer to Fig. 81 - 13.

Tighten the rod eye by hand or with an applicable
tool.
Refer to Fig. 81 - 18.

Tighten the nut at the connection rod.
Torque 6 Nm.

Make sure that the rod eye is parallel to the
wastegate mechanism.
Refer to Fig. 81 - 19.

Remove the clamp and disconnect the hose of the
air pressure device.

Re-connect the hose to the port of the wastegate
controller and attach a new clamp.
