Disassembly of the fairing
Remove the screws (26) securing the
RH air deflector (3) and remove the
deflector from the upper side fairing (11).
Unscrew the screws (14) securing the
upper side fairing (11) to the lower (9).
Recover the nuts (23) and the RH
plate (25).
Remove the RH guard (5) by
unscrewing the self-tapping
screws (22).
Repeat the above steps to
disassemble the LH side fairing.
To reassemble the fairings, carry out
the disassembly steps in reverse
order, applying the recommended
threadlocker to the threads of
screws (14) and (26) and tightening
all screws to the specified torque
(Sect. C 3).
Scomposizione carena
Svitare le viti (26) che fissano il
deflettore aria destro (3) e rimuoverlo
dalla semicarena superiore (11).
Svitare le viti (14) che fissano la
semicarena superiore (11) con
quella inferiore (9).
Recuperare i dadi (23) e la piastrina
destra (25).
Rimuovere la protezione destra (5)
svitando le viti autofilettanti (22).
Procedere analogamente per
scomporre la carena sinistra.
Per ricomporre la carena procedere
eseguendo le operazioni di
smontaggio in ordine inverso,
applicando frenafiletti prescritto sulle
filettature delle viti (14) e (26) e
serrando tutte le viti alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
