Revisione pompa olio
Una volta aperta, procedere ai
seguenti controlli:
- gioco tra i denti degli ingranaggi;
- gioco radiale tra ingranaggi e
corpo pompa;
- gioco assiale tra ingranaggi e
coperchio.
Il limite di servizio deve risultare
quello prescritto (Sez. C 1.1).
Verificare inoltre le condizioni delle
superfici di accoppiamento sul
coperchio e sul corpo pompa: non
devono presentare solchi, scalini o
rigature.
Lavare e soffiare con aria compressa i
canali interni.
Ricomposizione pompa
olio
Inserire nel coperchio pompa (2) la
valvola by pass (17), la molla (16) e
avvitare il tappo (14).
Serrare il tappo (14) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3) applicando un
frenafiletti medio.
Assemblare il coperchio (2) al corpo
pompa (5) completo di ingranaggi.
Montare le viti (3) e (6) di fissaggio
coperchio pompa.
Serrare le viti alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Note
Una volta ricomposta,
riempire la pompa con olio motore
prima del rimontaggio.
Oil pump overhaul
After disassembly of the oil pump,
check the following:
- backlash between gear teeth;
- radial play between gears and
pump body;
- end float between gears and pump
cover.
The service limit must be as specified
(Sect. C 1.1).
Also check the conditions of mating
surface on the cover and the pump
body: there must be no signs of
grooves, steps, or scoring.
Flush internal passages and blow
with compressed air.
Reassembly of the oil
pump
Install the by-pass valve (17) and the
spring (16) on the pump cover (2),
and screw in plug (14).
Tighten the plug (14) to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3), applying a
medium-strength threadlocker.
Fit the cover (2) to the pump body (5)
complete with the gears.
Tighten the pump cover retaining
screws (3) and (6).
Tighten the screws to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
Notes
Once reassembled, fill the
pump with engine oil before refitting.
