Refitting the fuel tank –
seat – rear fairing
assembly
Before refitting the assembly, make
sure the rubber blocks (8) at the base
of the seat and those on the frame
aligned with the tank pins (C) are
present.
Lubricate the latter to facilitate
insertion.
Fit the assembly to the vehicle by
inserting pins (C) into their seats on
the frame.
Notes
Although the pictures show the
bike fitted with a steering damper,
note that the DARK version does not
have a steering damper.
Install the breather and drain hoses (B)
into their fittings on the front of the
tank.
Notes
On the USA version, the
drainage and bleed hoses (B) must
be secured with two clamps.
Fit the guard (31) and tighten the
screws (30) to the specified torque
(Sect. C 3).
Connect the fuel sensor connector (A)
to the wiring harness.
Rimontaggio assieme
serbatoio - sella - codone
Prima di rimontare l’assieme
assicurarsi che siano presenti i
gommini (8) nella parte inferiore della
sella e quelli sul telaio i corrispondenza
dei perni (C) del serbatoio.
Lubrificare questi ultimi per agevolare
l’inserimento.
Posizionare l’assieme sul veicolo
infilando i perni (C) nelle sedi sul telaio.
Note
Le immagini raffigurano il
veicolo munito di ammortizzatore
di sterzo, la versione DARK ne è
sprovvista.
Installare i tubi di sfiato e drenaggio (B)
nei raccordi della parte anteriore del
serbatoio.
Note
Nella versione USA i tubi di
sfiato e drenaggio (B) vanno stretti
da due fascette.
Montare la protezione (31) serrando
alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3) le
viti (30).
Collegare il connettore della sonda
carburante (A) al cablaggio.
