Smontaggio forcellone
posteriore
Prima di procedere alla rimozione dei
componenti in questione occorre
rimuovere dal motoveicolo i
particolari riportati di seguito:
Tenere bloccato il perno forcellone (1)
sul lato sinistro della moto e
contemporaneamente svitare la
vite (4) sul lato opposto: recuperare
il distanziale (2) e rosetta (3).
Con il tampone 88713.1074 sfilare
completamente il perno forcellone
recuperando il distanziale (2) dal
lato sinistro.
Rimuovere il forcellone (17) completo
dal telaio.

Liberare il forcellone (17) dal
paracatena (14) svitando le viti (12).
Rimuovere successivamente i pattini
catena inferiore (16) e superiore (13)
svitando le viti (15).
Controllo perno forcellone
Verificare, prima di rimontarlo, l’entità
della distorsione del perno forcellone.
Ruotare il perno su di un piano di
riscontro e con uno spessimetro
verificare il valore della distorsione
(vedere Sez. C 1.1).
Sostituire i perni che risultano distorti
oltre il limite prescritto o che presentano
incrinature e/o deformazioni.

Removing the rear
swingarm
Before you can remove the swingarm,
you need to first remove the following
parts:
Restrain the swingarm pivot shaft (1)
from the LH side of the motorcycle
while undoing the screw (4) on the
opposite side: recover the spacer (2)
and washer (3).
Use the drift 88713.1074 to fully
extract the swing arm pivot shaft
and recover the spacer (2) from
the LH side.
Remove the swingarm (17)
assembly from the frame.

Release the swingarm (17) from the
chain guard (14) by removing the
screws (12).
Now remove the lower (16) and
upper (13) rubbing strips by
removing the screws (15).
Inspecting the swingarm
pivot shaft
Before refitting the swingarm pivot
shaft, check it carefully for distortion.
Roll the shaft on a reference surface
and measure maximum distortion
using a feeler gauge (see Sect. C 1.1).
Renew the shaft when distortion
exceeds the specified limit or if
cracked or otherwise damaged.
