Orientamento del
proiettore
Controllare se il proiettore è
correttamente orientato mettendo il
motociclo, con i pneumatici gonfiati
alla giusta pressione e con una
persona seduta in sella, perfettamente
perpendicolare con il suo asse
longitudinale, posto di fronte ad una
parete o ad uno schermo, distante da
esso 10 metri. Tracciare una linea
orizzontale corrispondente all’altezza
del centro del proiettore e una
verticale in linea con l’asse
longitudinale del motociclo.
Effettuare il controllo possibilmente
nella penombra.
Accendere la luce anabbagliante: il
limite superiore di demarcazione tra
la zona oscura e la zona illuminata
deve risultare ad una altezza non
superiore a 9/10 dell’altezza da terra
del centro del proiettore.
La rettifica dell’orientamento verticale
del proiettore si può effettuare agendo
sui pomelli di regolazione (1), sulla
sinistra del proiettore. Ruotando i
pomelli in senso orario il fascio
luminoso si abbassa, viceversa, si alza.
Headlight alignment
When checking the beam setting,
position the motorcycle upright.
Tyres should be inflated to the correct
pressure and one person should be
sitting astride the motorcycle,
perfectly perpendicular to its
longitudinal axis. Place the motorcycle
facing a wall or a screen, 10 meters
away from it. Draw a horizontal line
at the height of the centre of the
headlight and a vertical one in line with
the longitudinal axis of the motorcycle.
If possible, perform this check in
conditions of low ambient light.
Switch on the low beam. The height
of the upper limit between the dark
area and the lit area must not be
more than nine tenths of the height
of the centre of the headlamp from
the ground.
Vertical alignment is adjusted by
way of the adjuster knobs (1)on
the left of the headlight. Rotate
the knobs clockwise to lower the
beam or anti-clockwise to raise it.
