Ispezione forcella
Appoggiare su un piano la molla e
misurarne la lunghezza libera (L).
Limite di servizio: 270 mm
Sostituire la molla se la lunghezza
non rientra nel limite.
Esaminare la superficie esterna dei
due scorrevoli e quella interna dei due
foderi; non dovranno apparire rigature,
scalini o punti di forzatura.
Verificare la rettilineità dei tubi
portanti: massimo errore ammesso
0,10 mm.
Ogni volta che si rimuove il tubo
scorrevole dal fodero è buona norma
sostituire le boccole (20) e (21).
Inspecting the fork
Place the spring on a flat surface and
measure free length (L).
Service limit: 270 mm
Change the spring if not within limit.
Inspect the outer surface of both
sliders and the inner surface of both
outer sleeves. They must be free
from scoring, steps, or denting.
Check that stanchion tubes are
straight: maximum permissible
error 0.10 mm.
Whenever the slider is removed from
the sleeve it is good practice to renew
the bushes (20) and (21).
