Sensore pressione olio
Per verificare il funzionamento del
sensore della pressione olio motore,
seguire i punti indicati:
- Con lo strumento DDS verificare la
conformità della pressione nel
circuito di lubrificazione del motore
con i valori dichiarati (Sez. D 5).
- Se la pressione olio motore non è
conforme ai valori dichiarati,
controllare le parti costituenti il
circuito di lubrificazione ed
effettuare la riparazione necessaria.
- Se la pressione olio motore è
conforme ai valori dichiarati e non
si accende la spia di segnalazione
“bassa pressione olio motore” sul
cruscotto, accendere il quadro
(chiave accensione in posizione
ON) e mantenere il motore spento,
staccare il terminale elettrico dal
sensore di pressione e collegarlo a
massa. Se la spia si accende,
allora il sensore non funziona (va
sostituito). Se la spia non si
accende, controllare con il
multimetro la continuità elettrica
nel tratto di impianto che collega il
sensore alla centralina motore
(questo controllo va effettuato
con chiave accensione in posizione
OFF e cioè quadro spento).
- Se la pressione olio motore è
conforme ai valori dichiarati e la spia
di segnalazione “bassa pressione
olio motore” sul cruscotto è
sempre illuminata, accendere il
quadro (chiave in posizione ON) ed
avviare il motore, scollegare il
terminale normalmente inserito sul
sensore di pressione. Se la spia si
spegne allora il sensore non
funziona. Se la spia non si spegne
controllare con il multimetro che il
tratto di impianto elettrico che
collega il sensore alla centralina
motore, non sia a massa (questo
controllo va effettuato con chiave
accensione in posizione OFF e
cioè quadro spento).
Interruttore frizione
Per l’interruttore frizione (5) agire
analogamente a quanto effettuato
per gli interruttori STOP (vedi inizio
paragrafo).
Oil pressure sensor
Proceed as follows to check the
operation of the engine oil pressure
sensor:
- Use the DDS tester to check that
the oil pressure in the engine oil
circuit complies with the specified
values (Sect. D 5).
- If the engine oil pressure value is
outside the specified range, check
the oil circuit components and
service as necessary.
- If engine oil pressure value is within
the allowed operating range and
the warning light “engine oil
pressure low” on the instrument
panel stays off, switch on the
instrument panel (ignition key set to
ON) without starting the engine,
and disconnect the electrical
terminal from the pressure sensor
and connect it to ground. If the
indicator light now illuminates, this
means the sensor is defective and
must be replaced. If the indicator
light fails to illuminate, use a
multimeter and check for electrical
continuity in the section of the
circuit between sensor and warning
light on the instrument panel (this
check must be performed with the
ignition key set to OFF, i.e. with the
instrument panel off).
- If the engine oil pressure is within
the specified range and the
“engine oil pressure low” warning
light on the instrument panel is
continuously illuminated, switch on
the instrument panel (ignition key
set to ON) and start the engine,
then disconnect the electrical
terminal normally inserted on the
pressure sensor. If the indicator
light now switches off, this means
the sensor is defective. If the
indicator light fails to switch off,
use a multimeter and check that
the section of the circuit between
sensor and warning light on the
instrument panel is not connected
to ground (this check must be
performed with the ignition key set
to OFF, i.e. instrument panel off).
Clutch switch
For the clutch switch (5) proceed in the
same manner as for the brake light
switches (see at the beginning of this
heading).
