Crossconnections-STS3
Makes STS3 level cross-connections in both
directions in the FT-2000 add/drop-rings terminal.

This command controls values of the protection

protection tributaries of the local NE.

- Roll-STS1 This command rolls the source of a 1-way STS1
cross-connection to a new source and/or
changes a 1-way cross-connection type to/from a
1-way-dri cross-connection type. This is
accomplished by deleting the existing
cross-connection between the source and
destination and immediately establishing a new
1-way cross-connection between the new source
and the (existing) destination.

cross-connection to a new source and/or
changes a 1-way cross-connection type to/from a
1-way-dri cross-connection type.

-Squelch
Map-STS1
This command provisions the Source Node TID
and the Destination Node TID of an STS1
squelch map. For Release 7, this command
assigns Source and Destination node TIDs to
STS-1 cross-connections and sets STS-1
cross-connections' AUDIT parameter. This allows
nodes which do not support STS-1 Time Slot
Assignment to support circuits which terminate
and originate at other nodes which do support
STS-1 Time Slot Assignment. The AUDIT
parameter allows the circuit connectivity audit to
be disabled on a per STS-1 cross-connection
basis. This is needed to suppress circuit audit
alarms which would otherwise be generated at
non-STS-1-Time- Slot-Assignment capable
nodes in a ring where other nodes do support
STS-1 Time Slot Assignment. For Releases 5
and 6, this command overrides the STS3
provisioning and must be done at every node
through which the identified STS-1s pass.

-Alarm Inhibits the reporting of alarms.
