B.12. High Voltage Amplifiers
There are eight identical High Voltage Amplifiers (HVA) available for use in controlling the SPM. These
HVA icons are found in the Probe Interface I/O drawer of the Item Palette. Each of these HV amplifiers
is connected to its own DAC allowing a high level of flexibility in configuring the system. The bandwidth of
each HVA is 25 kHz.

The HVAs are generally controlled through the components that are connected to their inputs, such as
the Z feedback loop and X/Y Scan inputs.
The X,Y, and Z signals for the Scan Processor can be connected to any of the HVAs.
