AUTO GRIND CYCLE SEQUENCE
The section below provides a detailed narration of the sequence of machine events
comprising the automatic grind cycle.
Assumptions - the events sequence below was written with the assumption that
? the machine has been correctly installed and maintained, per procedures found
in the Model 7AF Operation and Maintenance manual.
? the machine has been correctly setup, per procedures found in the Machine
Setup chapter of the Model 7AF Operation and Maintenance manual.
? the machine has been powered up, homed, referenced, and prepared for an
automatic grind cycle, per procedures found in the Operator Functions chapter
of the Model 7AF Operation and Maintenance manual.
? wafers have been loaded, tape side up with the flat aligned to the back of the
cassette, in a cassette (or cassettes); send and receive cassettes have been
securely positioned in the guides of their respective turrets.
