5 - RUNNING AN AUTOMATIC GRIND CYCLE
Error Messages
Until the machine has been homed and referenced, the 7AF will not respond to
requests to run an auto grind cycle.
If the machine has not been referenced when you select the Grind Cycle menu, an
error message will be displayed when the Start Cycle button appears. Acknowledge
the error message by touching OK; touch QUIT to return to the Main Menu to select
the Home Machine menu.
See the Troubleshooting chapter of this manual for resolution of any onscreen
error messages not covered in this chapter.
Assumptions
The procedures below were written with the assumptions that:
1. The operator has powered up the machine, homed the machine,
checked the utilities, and referenced the chucks, per the procedures,
above, in this chapter.
2. The operator has obtained the recipe name and process parameters
from the process supervisor.
