5. Reference the probe at the Home Machine menu:
Touch to Select Explanation/Screen Display
a. Home Machine At the Main Menu screen, touch the "Home
Machine" button to select the Home Machine
menu.
Displays:
Home menu
b. Reference Left
Probe At the Home Machine menu, touch the
"Reference Left Probe" button to reference the
left probe.
Notes:
After referencing, the probe should be in its down position.
To raise or lower the probe, touch the Measure Thickness button at the
Home Machine menu.
6. Activate the left probe:
Touch to Select Explanation/Screen Display
a. Measure
Thickness At the Home Machine menu, touch the
"Measure Thickness" button to activate the left
probe.
7. Gently grasp the grind wheel to prevent it from rotating.
DO NOT press down on the grind wheel; apply gentle side force to restrain it.
