A. BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Tools Required
• feeler gauge
• adjustable wrench
• six-inch scale
Turn Machine Power On
Follow the procedures detailed in the Operator Functions chapter of this manual.
Right Travel Sensor
B. CHECK PRESENT CALIBRATION AND ADJUST IF NEEDED
1. Remove door 16.
2. Check the horizontal positioning of the sensor:
a. Using a six-inch scale, measure the distance from the end of the hardened
steel rail to the center of the sensor.
GOAL: The distance from the right end of the hardened steel rail
(on which the bridge moves) to the center of the sensor
should be four inches when measured with a scale.
b. If the position meets the goal, skip to Step 6., below.
c. If the horizontal position does not meet the goal, correct by following the
procedure beginning with Step 3., immediately below.
3. Using an adjustable wrench, loosen the one of the sensor's nuts by rotating it
counterclockwise.
4. Slide the sensor in the slotted bracket as needed to position the sensor to meet
the Step 2. goal.
5. Tighten the sensor nuts.
6. At the Machine Maintenance menu, move the bridge to the right:
GOAL: Watching carefully and moving slowly, position the bridge
as near the sensor as possible without touching the sensor.
