c. ⇒ Touch the "Right Arrow" button on the bridge
icon at the top of the screen as many times as
needed to have the bridge approach the sensor.
d. Factor x 10 As the bridge nears the sensor,
or reduce the factor as needed to
Factor x 1 move the bridge in smaller increments.
e. ⇒ Touch the "Right Arrow" button on the bridge
icon at the top of the screen as many times as
needed to position the bridge to meet the goal.
7. Evaluate the sensor position:
a. If the bridge looks as if it can be moved over the sensor without clipping
the sensor tip, skip to Step 8., below.
Note: The gap between the sensor tip and the lower bridge casting
should be between 1/32 in. and 1/64 in. when measured with a
feeler gauge.
b. If the bridge looks as if it will clip the tip when moved over the sensor,
adjust the vertical position of the sensor to permit the bridge to move over
the sensor without touching it:
i. Using an adjustable wrench, loosen one of the sensor nuts by rotating it
counterclockwise while taking care not to lose the horizontal position.
ii. Using an adjustable wrench, rotate both the upper and lower nuts to
position the sensor such that bridge may be moved over the sensor
without clipping the sensor tip.
