iii. Tighten the sensor nuts.
8. Move the bridge over the sensor:
Touch to Select Explanation/Screen Display
a. Factor x 10
or
Factor x 1 At the Machine Maintenance menu, reduce the
factor as needed to move the bridge in small
increments.
b. ⇒ Touch the "Right Arrow" button on the bridge
icon at the top of the screen as many times as
needed to position the bridge over the sensor.
9. Check to see if the right proximity sensor light (LED) is ON:
GOAL: The proximity sensor light should be ON when the bridge is
over the sensor.
a. If the sensor light is ON, skip to Step 13.
b. If the light is not ON, go to Step 10., immediately below, to adjust the
sensor position.
10. Using an adjustable wrench, loosen one of the sensor nuts by rotating it
counterclockwise while taking care not to lose the horizontal position.
11. Using an adjustable wrench, rotate both the upper and lower nuts to position
the sensor such that the sensor light turns ON.
12. Retighten the nuts by rotating them clockwise.
