6. With the bridge positioned such that the spring cushion is compressed one-half
inch, check to see if the left proximity sensor light (LED) is ON:
GOAL: The proximity sensor light should be ON when the bridge is
positioned such that the spring cushion is compressed one-
half inch.
a. If the sensor light is ON, skip to Step 8.
b. If the light is not ON, go to Step 7., immediately below, to adjust the
sensor position.
7. Adjust the sensor's horizontal and vertical positioning as needed to turn the
sensor light ON:
a. Using an adjustable wrench, loosen the sensor's nuts by rotating them
counterclockwise.
b. If needed, slide the sensor in the slotted bracket to reposition it
horizontally.
c. If needed, using an adjustable wrench, rotate both the upper and lower nuts
to reposition the sensor vertically.
d. Retighten the nuts by rotating them clockwise.
