Factor x 1 As the spindle nears the sensor, reduce the factor
as needed to move the spindle in smaller
increments.
d. ⇑ Touch the "Up Arrow" button just to the left of
the coarse spindle icon as many times as needed
to position the spindle to meet the goal.
5. Check to see if the coarse spindle proximity sensor light (LED) is ON:
GOAL: The proximity sensor light should be ON when
the spindle is positioned such that the diamond wheel does
not protrude below the inflatable seal top cover
AND
the spindle casting is not hitting the hard stop.
a. If the sensor light is ON, skip to Step 9.
b. If the light is not ON, go to Step 6., immediately below, to adjust the
sensor position.
6. Using an adjustable wrench, loosen one of the sensor nuts by rotating it
counterclockwise.
7. Using an adjustable wrench, rotate both the upper and lower nuts to position
the sensor such that the sensor light turns ON.
8. Retighten the nuts by rotating them clockwise.
