2. Remove the platform:
Note: Handle the sensor wires gently.
a. Remove the three 1/4-20 hold down bolts from the bottom of the platform
by rotating them counterclockwise.
b. Lift the platform off and gently place it inside the handling area near the
robot.
Note: If the sensor wires are too short to permit setting the platform
aside, disconnect the quick disconnects of the five sensor wires.
Platform Height Adjustment
3. Using a 6-inch scale, check the height of the cassette platform support:
a. Measure the vertical distance between the black frame (at a point nearest
the bottom of the plexiglass window when it is installed) and the top of the
round black cassette platform support .
GOAL: The vertical distance between the black frame and the
top of the round black cassette platform support should
equal approximately 7/16 in.
b. If the gap does not meet the goal, correct the position by following the
procedure in Step 2., immediately below.
4. Correct the height:
a. Loosen the three clamp screws of the locking collar by rotating them
counterclockwise.
