CHANGING THE GRIND WHEELS
Notes
• The procedure below was written for the right (fine) grind wheel. To change the
left (coarse) grind wheel, repeat the steps shown below, substituting left for right
and following instructions shown in parentheses when appropriate.
• Refer to engineering drawing 224016.
Tools Required
• 3/16-in. hex key
• 5/32-in. hex key
• isopropyl alcohol
• lint-free wipes
• replacement grind wheel
• adjustable torque wrench with a 3/16-in. hex key fitting
• 6-inch scale
• test wafer
Before You Begin
Confirm that the clean dry air valve, located at the lower right rear of the machine, is
turned ON.
