The buttons on the coarse grind spindle icon, located at the
left of the menu screen and just below the bridge icon, permit
manual control of up and down movement and rotation of the
coarse grind spindle.
Touch the U button to move the coarse grind spindle to its
up position.
Touch the H button to move the coarse grind spindle to its
hover position.
Touch the Up Arrow button to move the coarse grind spindle
up at a rate of 0.1 microns per second. Use the Up Arrow
in combination with the Factor buttons (see below) to move
the coarse grind spindle up in larger increments.
Touch the Down Arrow button to move the coarse grind
spindle down at a rate of 0.1 microns per second. Use the
Down Arrow in combination with the Factor buttons (see
below) to move the coarse grind spindle down in larger
increments.
Touch the Minus button to decrease the spindle speed by 1
revolution per minute. Use the Minus button in
combination with the Factor buttons (see below) to decrease
the rotational speed of the coarse grind spindle by larger
increments.
Touch the Plus button to increase the spindle speed by 1
revolution per minute. Use the Plus button in combination
with the Factor buttons (see below) to increase the speed of
the coarse grind spindle by larger increments.
Touch the START button to start rotation of the coarse
grind spindle. Touch the STOP button to stop rotation.
