STEP 2 - MACHINE PLACEMENT
The Model 7AF Wafer Grinder must be located on a FLAT, LEVEL SURFACE.
The machine requires a minimum of THREE FEET of CLEARANCE around all sides for
service access.
The necessary connections for electrical, plumbing, and exhaust utilities are all accessible from
the rear of the machine. Instructions for utilities hookup are shown in the Connecting Utilities
section, below.
While moving the machine sections to their final site location, please be sure to observe the
forklift handling procedures defined below.
Placement procedures are included below for manufacturing locations with wide (70 inches or
greater) and narrow (greater than 50 inches but less than 70 inches) access doors.
