Left Side
GOALS: (1) A bubble level reads LEVEL when placed (horizontally) on top of
the floor of the machine cabinet, inside door 14,
AND
(2) A bubble level reads PLUMB when placed (vertically) at the left
side front of the machine at the intersection of the top and bottom
machine cabinets.
8. Inside the door 14 opening, place a standard bubble level on top of the floor of
the machine cabinet, positioned with one end of the level pointing toward the
front of the machine and the other pointing toward the rear.
a. If the reading meets GOAL 1, skip to Step 10., below.
b. If the reading does not meet GOAL 1, go to Step 9., immediately below, to
correct the machine’s position.
9. Adjust the leveling feet until GOAL 1 (above) is met:
a. Using a 15/16-in. open end wrench, rotate the locking nut of each locking
nut and adjusting bolt pair counterclockwise to loosen.
b. Using a 3/8-in. open-end wrench, rotate each hex head adjusting bolt
counterclockwise or clockwise (up or down) as needed to meet GOAL 1.
c. Retighten the locking nuts by rotating them clockwise to firm.
10. Move the bubble level to the left side exterior front of the machine, positioning
it vertically at the intersection of the top and bottom machine cabinets.
a. If the reading meets GOAL 2, skip to Step 12., below.
b. If the reading does not meet GOAL 2, go to Step 11., immediately below,
to correct the machine’s position.
