11. Adjust the leveling feet until GOAL 2 (above) is met:
a. Using a 15/16-in. open end wrench, rotate the locking nut of each locking nut and
adjusting bolt pair counterclockwise to loosen.
b. Using a 3/8-in. open-end wrench, rotate each hex head adjusting bolt
counterclockwise or clockwise (up or down) as needed to meet GOAL 2.
c. Retighten the locking nuts by rotating them clockwise to firm.
12. Recheck to confirm that GOALS 1 and 2 continue to be met:
a. Repeat Step 8., above.
b. If needed, repeat the adjustment procedure found in Step 9.
c. Repeat Step 10., above.
d. If needed, repeat the adjustment procedure found in Step 11.
e. Repeat checking and adjusting until both goals have been met.
f. When both GOAL 1 and GOAL 2 have been met, go on to Side to Side at the
Rear, below.
Side to Side at the Rear
GOAL: A bubble level reads LEVEL when placed side to side on top of the floor
of the machine cabinet, inside door 19.
13. Remove door 19.
14. Inside the door 19 opening, place a standard bubble level side to side (one end of the
level pointing toward the left side of the machine and the other end pointing toward the
right side) on top of the floor of the machine cabinet.
Note: Do NOT place the level on the top of the input/output enclosure.
a. If the reading meets the goal, skip to Final Check, below.
b. If the reading does not meet the, go to Step 15, immediately below, to correct the
machine’s position.
