Operations and Maintenance Manual Installation
Version 1.2 - June 2004 2 - 23
ELECTRICAL
The electrical supply [I] is connected to the main machine circuit breaker (208 VAC),
which in turn is connected to the main machine circuit breaker disconnect enclosure
door handle assembly . The circuit breaker is mounted on the inside of the electrical
disconnect box.
The door handle trips the lever of the disconnect enclosure door handle assembly to
enable the circuit breaker.
A hole must be drilled in the right side or top of the electrical enclosure in order to
pass the wires through the cabinet wall to the circuit breaker. The location for this
hole is left to the discretion of the customer. However, before drilling the hole, verify
that there are no wires or components inside the enclosure that may interfere with the
supply wire conduit.
In addition to connecting the three power wires, connect a safety ground wire to the
back panel ground bus.
After making the electrical supply connection, leave the main power disconnect (main
machine circuit breaker) in the "OFF" condition by moving the lever to its down
position; close the electrical enclosure door and latch assembly tightly.
DO NOT attempt to turn on the main machine power switch until ALL machine
utilities are connected.
