Verificare che sulla testa risultino
installate le boccole di centraggio (10)
in corrispondenza dei supporti, sia sul
lato distribuzione che su quello
opposto.
Prelevare i supporti (22) e (23)
degli alberi distribuzione facendo
attenzione che quello provvisto di
canale di lubrificazione (A) deve
essere installato sul lato opposto
distribuzione.
Verificare che la superficie di
accoppiamento delle teste e dei
supporti (22) e (23) degli alberi
distribuzione risultino piane e pulite
da eventuali tracce di guarnizione.
Passare del liquido sgrassante sulla
testa, in corrispondenza dei supporti
di banco degli alberi distribuzione.
Applicare il sigillante nei punti (B)
indicati in figura in modo da garantire
la tenuta dell’accoppiamento.
Lubrificare con olio graffitato la
portata sulla testa degli alberi
distribuzione.
Installare gli alberi distribuzione (14)
e (15) nei rispettivi alloggiamenti della
testa, ruotandoli per distribuire
uniformemente l’olio graffitato.
Montare i supporti (22) e (23) sulla
testa, inserendoli nelle boccole di
centraggio (10). Battere con martello
di gomma per aiutare l'inserimento.
Importante
In caso di difficoltà
nell'inserimento, non procedete
nel montaggio ma accertatevi che le
boccole (10) non risultino deformate o
distorte.
Check that the head is equipped with
the centring bushes (10) at the
supports, on both the timing and
opposite sides.
Select the camshaft supports (22)
and (23); note that the one equipped
with the oilway (A) installs on the
opposite side.
Check that the mating surfaces of the
heads and camshaft supports (22)
and (23) are flat and free of any gasket
residue.
Degrease the head in the area of the
camshaft journals.
Apply sealant to the points (B)
indicated in the figure so as to
ensure the coupling is tight.
Lubricate the camshaft head tracks
with graphite oil.
Install the camshafts (14) and (15)
to the head, and rotate them to
distribute the graphite oil evenly.
Install the supports (22) and (23)
to the head, fitting them into the
centring bushes (10). Use a rubber
mallet to tap them home.
Important
If the insertion proves difficult,
do not force them but check the
bushes (10) for deformations.
