Rimontaggio coperchio testa
La tenuta tra testa e coperchio è
realizzata con l'utilizzo di una
guarnizione in gomma preformata e,
in corrispondenza delle colonnette di
fissaggio del coperchio, sono
installate delle rosette gommate (8).
Queste guarnizioni possono essere
utilizzate più volte a condizione che
non presentino deformazioni o danni.
Per migliorare la tenuta della
guarnizione preformata è consigliabile
applicare nelle zone indicate dalle
frecce, su entrambi i lati della testa,
un cordone uniforme di pasta
sigillante.
Accoppiare la guarnizione (9) sul
coperchio testa (6), facendola aderire
per tutto il suo sviluppo ed inserendo
i perni di ritegno (E) nei fori (D) sulla
testa.
Applicare il sigillante nei punti (C)
del coperchio testa (6).
Montare la guarnizione (9)
sul coperchio, installandola
perfettamente nella propria sede e
inserendo i dentini (E) del coperchio
nei fori (D) della guarnizione.
Installare il coperchio (6) con
guarnizione (9) e rosette gommate (8)
nelle colonnette della testa (12).
Controllare che i profili esterni del
coperchio e della guarnizione, lungo
tutto il perimetro e nella zona del
pozzetto candela, risultino allineati;
solo in questa condizione sarà
garantita la tenuta.
Refitting the head cover
The seal between the head and its
cover is ensured by a shaped rubber
gasket and vulcanised washers (8)
on the cover stud-bolts.
These gaskets can be reused so long
as they are not damaged or deformed.
To improve the tightness of the
shaped gasket, apply an even bead of
sealant on both sides of the head
at the points indicated by the arrows.
Seat the gasket (9) on the head
cover (6), making sure it adheres
evenly and fit the retainer pins (E)
into the holes (D) in the head.
Apply sealant to the points (C) of the
head cover (6).
Seat the gasket (9) on the cover,
making sure it fits perfectly into its
seat and with the lugs (E) of the cover
fitting into the holes (D) in the gasket
itself.
Install the cover (6) with the gasket (9)
and vulcanised washers (8) onto the
head stud-bolts (12).
Check that the external profiles of the
cover and the gasket are aligned all
around their perimeters and at the
sparkplug seat to ensure a perfectly
tight seal.
