segmenti-cilindro
Il controllo deve essere fatto a tre
diverse altezze (vedi figura). E'
importante che il rilevamento venga
fatto con segmento (4) posizionato
perfettamente in “squadro” nel
cilindro. A tal proposito inserire nel
cilindro il pistone (1) nudo sul quale
appoggiare il segmento da controllare.
Misurare la distanza (A) tra le
estremità del segmento (4):

Checking the piston ring-
cylinder clearance
This check must be carried out at
three different heights (see figure).
It is essential that the measurement
be performed with the piston ring (4)
positioned perfectly square in the
cylinder. For this reason, the piston (1)
should be inserted in the cylinder
without piston rings fitted.
Measure the gap (A) between the
ends of the piston ring (4):
