II. Configuration example
# By default, a port is allowed to output the Up/Down log information. Execute the
shutdown command or the undo shutdown command on Ethernet 1/0/1, and the
system outputs Up/Down log information of Ethernet 1/0/1.
<Sysname> system-view
System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.
[Sysname] interface Ethernet 1/0/1
[Sysname-Ethernet1/0/1] shutdown

Ethernet1/0/1 is DOWN
