The following takes the client software of PuTTY Version 0.58 as an example to
illustrate how to configure the SSH client:
I. Generating a client key
To generate a client key, run PuTTYGen.exe, and select from the Parameters area the
type of key you want to generate, either SSH-2 RSA or SSH-2 DSA, then click
Generate.

Note that while generating the key pair, you must move the mouse continuously and
keep the mouse off the green process bar in the blue box of shown in
Figure 1-3.
Otherwise, the process bar stops moving and the key pair generating process is
stopped.
