Status information on each of the NetRaid disks is shown in the Physical Devices field.
Possible status conditions are the following:
• Onlin - disk is operating properly as part of a configured logical drive
• READY - disk is free to be included in RAID, but has not yet been configured
• Failed - disk has failed and may have to be replaced
• Rebuilding - disk is in the process of being rebuilt into a logical drive
• HOTSP - disk is kept as a Hot Spare (not applicable for the Database Server)
For proper Server operation, the status of each disk should be Onlin, as shown in Figure 7-
43.
Configuration settings can be viewed by clicking on Configuration in the upper row
menu to display its menu, as shown in Figure 7-44.
