To cancel black level leaking that can occur at the edge
of the screen when the Defocus effect is enabled, press
[Clean Defocus], turning it on.

Applying the Blur effect

In the DME menu, select VF2 ‘Video Modify’ and
HF1 ‘Defocus/Blur.’
The Defocus/Blur menu appears.

Press [Blur], turning it on.
Notes
On the MVE-8000A, the Glow and Blur effects cannot
be enabled at the same time. The effect which was
turned on most recently is enabled.

When the DME is connected through an SDI interface,
in the <Blur Mode> group, select the signal to which
you want apply the Blur effect.
