Chapt er 2 0 Managing the Dolby IMS2000 API
and SNMP
The Dolby IMS2000 supports an application programming interface (API) that enables
the Dolby TMS and other devices to control the system remotely. The system uses
multiple APIs that control the Dolby IMS2000.
20.1 API and web services overview
The Dolby IMS2000 supports an API that enables the Dolby TMS and other devices to
control the system remotely.
In addition to supporting the key-length-value (KLV) API used on the Dolby DCP2000
and ShowVault, the Dolby IMS2000 includes updated SOAP/web services for additional
control of the Screen management system (SMS) and several new functions not
supported in the previous version.
These functions are included for KLV API control of the SMS:
• SPL creation and management
• SPL scheduling
• Ingestion of content over the network
• SMS macros
The Web Services Description Language (WSDL) files for the web service are available on
the Dolby IMS2000 at /doremi/share/wsdl/.
