Configuring Passwords to Control Management Access to the Router
5. Select the tab for the type of access you want to configure:
• Enable Password
•Telnet
•Console
• SSH
• HTTP
• FTP
6. Select the Use remote RADIUS server option.
7. Click Apply to save your settings.
Configuring Authentication Using a TACACS+ Server
If you want to use a TACACS+ server to authenticate users who access the
router, you must enable the AAA subsystem.
1. Select Passwords in the navigation bar and scroll to the bottom of the
Add/Modify/Delete Users window.
2. In the Service Authentication section, select AAA Mode Enabled.
3. Click Apply to enable the AAA subsystem.
4. Configure the settings for a TACACS+ server.
a. Select the TACACS+ tab.
