Installation
2.26.5 FILE FORMAT CONVERTER TYPE E
Unplug the main machine power cord before you do the following procedure.
1. Remove the slot B cover [A] ( x 2).
2. Install the file format converter [B] into slot B and then fasten it with screws.
3. Plug in and turn on the main power switch.
4. Check or set the following SP codes with the values shown below.
SP No. Title Setting
SP5-836-001 Capture Function (0:Off 1:On) "1"
SP5-836-002 Panel Setting "0"
5. Check the operation.
6. Make sure that the machine can recognize the option (see ‘Check All Connections’ at the
end of this section).
