Oil cooler and water jacket
3. Install:
•Gasket
• Water jacket cover (upper)
TIP:
Tighten the water jacket cover (upper) bolts to
the specified torques in 2 stages.
4. Install:
•Gasket “1”
• Water jacket thermostat “2”
• Water jacket thermostat housing
TIP:
Fit the protrusion “a” on the thermostat into
the cut-out “b” in the water jacket cover (up-
per).
Installing the oil cooler cover
1. Install:
• Oil cooler cover anode
•Gasket
• Oil cooler cover
•Gasket
•Thermostat
• Thermostat cover
TIP:
Tighten the oil coder cover bolts to the speci-
fied torques in 2 stages.

2nd: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7.4 lb·ft)
