Checking the intake manifold
1. Check:
• Intake manifold
Cracked/damaged → Replace.
Installing the intake manifold
1. Install:
• Cooling water hose “1”, “2”, “3”, “4”, “5”,
“6”, “7”
•Joint
•Plastic tie
TIP:
Make sure that the paint marks “a” on the
cooling water hoses face outward.
2. Install:
•Gasket
TIP:
Make sure to fit the tabs on the gaskets “1”
and “2” properly and firmly with the grooves
“a” and “b” in the intake manifold.
3. Install:
• Intake manifold
(temporarily)
4. Tighten:
• Intake manifold bolt
TIP:
Tighten the intake manifold bolts “1” and “2”
to the specified torque in the order [1], [2], and
so on.
