Installing the power unit
1. Clean:
• Power unit matching surface
2. Install:
• Special service tool
When lifting the outboard motor, make sure
to use the specified special service tool.
Other bolts and hanging jigs could bend or
break, causing the outboard motor to fall.
3. Install:
• Lifting harness
(onto the special service tool “1” and “2”)
4. Install:
•O-ring
•Dowels
•Gasket
• Power unit
a. Install a new O-ring “1” into the flange
“2” and install the dowels and new gas-
ket onto the exhaust guide.
