Knocking detection
Although previous models were equipped with 1 knock sensor, the number of sensors for this model
was increased to 2 knock sensors. Because the sensitivity for detecting knocking is increased, the
minimum amount of fuel within the range that does not produce knocking can be injected to generate
the maximum output.
Overheat detection
Although previous models detected overheating using the engine temperature and thermo switch, this
model detects overheating using the thermo sensor. As a result, the warning can be activated at an
early stage.
