Usage Guide:
Use the ip source verify command to enable IP Source Guard function. Default IP Source Guard filter source IP
address. The “mac-and-ip” filters not only source IP address but also source IP address. Use the no form of this
command to disable
Example:
The example shows how to enable IP Source Guard with source IP address filtering on interface gi1.
Switch(config)# interface gi1
switch(config-if)# ip source verify
The example shows how to enable IP Source Guard with source IP and MAC address filtering on interface gi2. You
can verify settings by the following show ip source interfaces command.
Switch(config)# interface gi2
switch(config-if)# ip source verify mac-and-ip
switch(config-if)# do show ip source interfaces gi1-2
