Usage Guide:
The “dot1x” command enables the global setting of IEEE 802.1X port-based network access control. Only when it is
enabled, can the port-based setting work.
Use the no form of this command to disable
Example:
The following example shows how to enable 802.1X access control on port 1.
Switch(config)# dot1x
switch(config)# interface gi1
switch(config-if)# dot1x auto
switch(config-if)# exit
switch(config)# show dot1x
802.1x protocol is: Enabled
802.1x protocol version: 2
switch(config)# show dot1x interfaces gi1
