Fax Unit Options
D393 10 SM
1. Make two holes in the scanner left cover.
2. Attach the bracket [A] enclosed with the fax unit ( x 2: M3 x 12) as shown.
3. Remove the label [B] from the handset cradle [C]. Attach the cradle [C] to the bracket
[A] ( x 2: M3 x 8), and then replace the label [B].
4. Install the handset [D] on the cradle [C].
5. Attach the ferrite core [E] to the cable. The length [F] must be 90 mm.
6. Attach the two clamps [G] as shown.
7. Line the cable [H] as shown (= x 2).
8. Connect the cable [H] to the "TEL" jack at the rear of the machine.
For the copier with a finisher
1. Do the handset installation procedure "for the copier without any finisher".
2. Attach the clamp [A] to the scanner left cover.
3. Clamp the handset cord with clamp [A].
